We are a family with a boat from Alaska. We've been here, in one form or another, for a long time. For almost as long we've been catching salmon in the waters of Southeast. We have a particular way of doing it, for particular reasons, which you can read all about.
We believe that fisherman can make a decent living and people can still buy economical seafood while maintaining the highest levels of quality and sustainability. Also, we like to eat really good fish. If you do too check out our purchase page.
We also like to have fun while we work hard and, sometimes, we even try to think a little about how what we do fits into the world in a larger sense. We sometimes subject other people to our thoughts as well, which you can read in our blog – updated irregularly and without much cohesion of theme.
We like the idea that people might want to know where their food comes from and how it got to them – after all, we do ourselves. Some of that journey you can see in our photo galleries.
For news, updates, references to things happening in the fish world, and brief commentary, you can follow us on twitter and to be kept up to date with prices, seasonal developments, and special offers please join our mailing list. Feel free to contact us with any questions, comments, concerns, or general observations – we are always happy to get mail.
